LCMS Youth Ministry Symposium
January 28-30, 2018
Hilton St. Louis Airport
The Symposium’s focus will be ministry to and with young adults, with a special focus on the recent research conducted by LCMS Youth Ministry. The LCMS Young Adult Ministry research data will be presented with facilitated discussions on current positive ministry taking place among LCMS young adults and the need for future ministry resources, engagement, and study. The research conducted includes the direct feedback from 200 LCMS congregations and more than 1,800 young adults who have been or are connected to the LCMS. Their insights are powerful, and anyone connected to or interested in youth and young adult ministry is encouraged to attend, including pastors, youth workers (commissioned and lay workers; professional and volunteers).
Ministry stakeholders and practitioners are invited to be active participants as the findings are synthesized by symposium speakers Ryan Curnutt, Dr. Dave Rueter, DCE (Concordia University Irvine) and Dr. Kevin Borchers, DCE (Concordia University Chicago).
The registration rate is $100, which includes two meals and program materials.
