Guest Speaker: Danielle Tietjen - Minneapolis, MN - http://danitietjen.com
Guest Speaker:
Dani Tietjen grew up just outside Detroit, MI. After graduating high school she traveled with a Youth Encounter team around the upper Midwest, then started her college education. After a year attending community college, Dani moved to MN where she attended Concordia University, St. Paul studying theater, communication, theology and mission and outreach. Three years later Dani had her degree as a Director of Christian Outreach (DCO) in the LCMS. After graduation Dani worked briefly in a Minneapolis, MN church, then went to work for Youth Encounter in their event ministry department.
Dani took her first international mission trip to Haiti before graduating high school. Her ministry started with the Haiti Lutheran Mission Society (HLMS), but she is now a founding member of the Haiti Mission Project and serves as their Trip Director.
Dani shares her everyday life experiences, Biblical truth and international awareness to try to motivate and encourage others in their understanding of faith, God, and service. Dani’s goal when speaking is to bring truth in a way that youth will understand. Dani has a heart for encouraging, for need awareness, and action in faith.

Guest Musician: Paul Tietjen - Minneaoplis, MN - www.100whiteflags.com
Guest Musician:
Paul Tietjen was raised in Dallas/Ft.Worth surrounded by blues, southern rock and…sadly…country music. After a life changing viewing of Back To The Future, Paul focused his efforts on the guitar. He toured the Midwest with “Captive Free” and then returned to Texas to earn an Associates in Arts Degree. He then returned for the final three months of “Captive Free East Lakes”. With a burning desire to tour full time, Paul moved to Minneapolis, MN and started “speiro” with two friends. Two years later, Paul became a full time Youth Director in Golden Valley, MN. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from The Art Institutes International Minnesota, he is a graphic designer, musician and father. Paul has also done three trips to Haiti with the Haiti Mission Project, a non-profit that he helped create with his wife.
